Savantage CPA Charlie Carrigan Receives the 2007 SmartCPA Award from Washington SmartCEO Magazine
ROCKVILLE, Maryland - July 28, 2007
Lisa Kazor, CEO and President of Savantage Solutions, announced today that Savantage Executive Vice President Charlie Carrigan received the SmartCPA Award for 2007 from Washington SmartCEO Magazine. This award recognizes Charlie as one of the top 50 certified public accountants in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area including Maryland and Virginia.
The SmartCPA Award acknowledges the work of top CPAs practicing in accounting firms, private industry, government, and education who have demonstrated leadership, accomplishment, innovation, and success.
Mr. Carrigan has more than 30 years of experience in government accounting and providing financial management transformation and systems development services to the Federal government. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) skilled in financial analysis, financial management, internal and management controls, systems analysis, business process reengineering, strategic planning, logistics, and training.
Currently, Mr. Carrigan leads Savantage's team working at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Throughout his career, he has led financial management transformation teams developing and implementing accounting and reporting systems, strategic planning and business modernization programs at various federal agencies. He has received multiple awards and commendations for his work from both government officials and private industry organizations.
Mr. Carrigan is featured with the other winners in a special section in the July 2007 issue of Washington SmartCEO Magazine.
