Ernst & Young Names Savantage CEO Kazor a Finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 Award
ROCKVILLE, Maryland - May 5, 2006
Savantage Solutions today announced that Lisa Kazor, CEO and President, has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 Award in Maryland. The Entrepreneur of the Year awards program was created to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Lisa Kazor has led Savantage since 2000. As CEO and President, she has greatly expanded the company’s service offerings, making Savantage into a highly respected and successful competitor in the federal financial management market. Under her leadership, Savantage evolved from being simply a software product-based company into a customer-focused full-service solution provider. In 2005, Savantage was also recognized as a Fast 50 Technology company by Deloitte & Touche.
Kazor was selected as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 Award from more than 60 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special 20th anniversary gala event on June 22 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 national program.
